Artarmon is two suburbs in one as far as we are concerned. East of the railway it is federation houses and back gardens, and the jobs are birthdays, christenings and Christmas lunches. West of it is the industrial area, where the jobs are end of year drinks in a warehouse or a showroom with a trestle table and an esky.

Both work the same way. We drop the crates off, you use them, and they come back to us dirty. For the businesses, we invoice properly, so nobody is putting glasses on a personal card and chasing it through expenses.

If you are hiring a room rather than using your own place, these are the ones people around Artarmon use most. Both are Willoughby Council rooms, and council rooms are hired without glassware.

What you can hire

Everything comes in crates, and everything comes back dirty. The range is the same wherever we deliver:

  • Wine glasses, red and white, mostly Luigi Bormioli lead free crystal
  • Champagne flutes for the toast, including Luigi Bormioli Palace flutes for the top table
  • Highballs and pilsners for spirits, beer and water
  • Trumpet and grappa glasses for the less obvious jobs
  • A drink dispenser as an add-on

How it works

  • Tell us the date and the headcount. We come back with a quote, usually same day.
  • We deliver, or you collect. Pickup from Northbridge is free. Delivery is $40 each way because you are inside our delivery area, on orders of $100 or more. Pickup has no minimum.
  • Three days. Friday to Monday covers a Saturday party without anybody rushing.
  • Send them back dirty. Do not wash them. That is the whole service.

Questions

Can you deliver to a business in the Artarmon industrial area?

Yes. Tell us whether there is a roller door or a loading bay and what time someone will be there. Delivery is $40 each way.

Can you invoice our company?

Yes, and there is no deposit for companies. Say so when you enquire and send us your purchase order after the quote. The invoice has the business name and your PO number on it.

Is the Bowling Clubhouse deck a good spot for glass?

It is a deck, so people will put glasses down on the rail and the steps. Hire a few more than you think you need. Breakage costs are on our main page and we are relaxed about the odd one.
