Glassware hire in Neutral Bay

Glassware hire for Neutral Bay. Crates of real glass for apartment parties and hall bookings, collected dirty afterwards.

Hiring glasses in Neutral Bay

Neutral Bay has more apartments than backyards, and the parties fit the space. Thirty people across a living room and a balcony, a kitchen bench doing the work of a bar, and not enough cupboard space to own the glasses for it. That is exactly what hiring is for.

We hire by the crate for three days. Delivery down Military Road is $40 each way, or collect from Northbridge for free. The glasses come back dirty and we wash them.

Local halls and venues

If you are hiring a room rather than using your own place, these are the ones people around Neutral Bay use most. The hall comes with tables and chairs but no glassware.

Neutral Bay Community Centre

190 to 192 Military Road. The hall holds 50, has a stage and shares a kitchenette upstairs. North Sydney Council hires it until midnight Monday to Saturday. Council page

What you can hire

Everything comes in crates, and everything comes back dirty. The range is the same wherever we deliver:

  • Wine glasses, red and white, mostly Luigi Bormioli lead free crystal
  • Champagne flutes for the toast, including Luigi Bormioli Palace flutes for the top table
  • Highballs and pilsners for spirits, beer and water
  • Trumpet and grappa glasses for the less obvious jobs
  • A drink dispenser as an add-on

See the full range and prices, or send us your numbers and we will work out what you need.

How it works

  • Tell us the date and the headcount. We come back with a quote, usually same day.
  • We deliver, or you collect. Pickup from Northbridge is free. Delivery is $40 each way because you are inside our delivery area, on orders of $100 or more. Pickup has no minimum.
  • Three days. Friday to Monday covers a Saturday party without anybody rushing.
  • Send them back dirty. Do not wash them. That is the whole service.

Questions

Can you deliver to an apartment on Military Road?

Yes. Tell us about the lift, the loading zone and roughly when someone will be home. Military Road parking is tight, so a time window helps.

How many glasses for a party of thirty?

Around forty five to sixty, depending on how long it runs and whether people switch between wine and something else. Tell us the numbers and we will size it.

Is there a minimum order?

Not for pickup, one crate is a normal order. Delivery needs $100 of hire, which is two crates.
