Hiring glasses in Castlecrag
Castlecrag is one of the closest suburbs to us and one of the easiest to serve. The houses here were built for entertaining outdoors, and a lot of what we send out goes onto a terrace looking into the bush. Wine glasses and flutes mostly, sometimes the whole lot for a milestone birthday.
Because you are so close, the sums work out well. Free pickup from Northbridge is a five minute drive, and if you would rather we brought them, the delivery fee comes down accordingly. There is no reason to be serving good wine in plastic this close to a shed full of glassware.
Local halls and venues
If you are hiring a room rather than using your own place, these are the ones people around Castlecrag use most. The community centre is run by volunteers rather than a booking desk, so give yourself time. The Sea Scouts do not take birthday parties for anyone aged 15 to 30.

Down a steep driveway off Rockley Street, with a hall upstairs, a modern kitchen and a balcony over Sailors Bay. Hired for celebrations, meetings and small weddings, daytime only. The group also hires out its hall at 43 Eastern Valley Way. Venue page

Everything comes in crates, and everything comes back dirty. The range is the same wherever we deliver:
- Wine glasses, red and white, mostly Luigi Bormioli lead free crystal
- Champagne flutes for the toast, including Luigi Bormioli Palace flutes for the top table
- Highballs and pilsners for spirits, beer and water
- Trumpet and grappa glasses for the less obvious jobs
- A drink dispenser as an add-on

How it works
- Tell us the date and the headcount. We come back with a quote, usually same day.
- We deliver, or you collect. Pickup from Northbridge is free. Delivery is $40 each way because you are inside our delivery area, on orders of $100 or more. Pickup has no minimum.
- Three days. Friday to Monday covers a Saturday party without anybody rushing.
- Send them back dirty. Do not wash them. That is the whole service.
